via VJFranzK:

“VEXAGON” – Semi-abstract series of ink drawings that may resemble caligraphy of unknown languages, maps, diagrams, graffiti, or the view of a dyslexic. Usually only in black on white, ocasionally red, rarely other colors. Over 15 years and hundreds of pieces, an iconography has grown, incorporating Asian, Egyptian, technological and magical motifs. Like an “inkblot test”, the meaning is more subliminal than overt, and differs widely between viewers. In this case, the standard map of our Earth is viewed through this strange lense, and animated using computer technology. This is a LIVE VJ / AV mix – I was operating both the visuals and synth at the same time! I can make these type of projections fit your event if you wish. (See examples with The Radon Collective, etc.) This is now being seen as part of the “Space” art show at the dA gallery in Pomona, July 2008.
