Visit the FL Studio Guru Blog at www.image-line.com Download the project used in this video in Looptalk forum.image-line.com In this tutorial I explain what sidechaining is and how it works in the FL Studio mixer. Then use it to pump or duck the volume of a PAD sound with a KICK using Fruity Limiter. Sidechain sends were introduced with FL Studio 9. NOTE: Sidechaining is just one use of multiple-input effect plugins, FL Studio supports multiple input and output plugin instruments and effects. Other effect uses may be things like vocoding, see Vocodex www.image-line.com and Mid/Side decoding, see Fruity Stereo Shaper flstudio.image-line.com Of course for instruments like FPC or Slicex flstudio.image-line.com it means you can route each drum pad or slice to a unique mixer track.
