This tutorial discusses the Playlist / disk-based recording method. Here we record a female vocal over a project and discuss the settings and prerequisites to record audio. The recordings appear in the Playlist once captured. The more technically correct term for this method is ‘disk’ recording, since the audio is saved to the hard-drive. Next time we will look at Loop-Recording using Edison. The integrated audio editor and recorder.
