This is a tribute to the late theoretical astrophysicist Lev Kofman, who passed away Nov. 12, 2009. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. I had the pleasure of interviewing him for CIUT Radio, where we discussed inflationary cosmology, his special area of work. I created this piece of music, which features clips from that interview, to reflect on the current shape of our understanding of the universe’s evolution since the Big Bang.
