DIY step pattern sequencer (the Tenori-on killer!!)
via lightharp:
thinking about buying a Yamaha Tenori-on? don’t waste your money! who can afford to spend $1000 on a few buttons and flashy lights? after all, there’s a recession on! for less than $100 in off-the-shelf electronic parts, you too can be the proud owner of a… uh… whatever this thing is.
P Rome may not have been sacked and burned to the ground in a day, but YOU can build your own MIDI sequencer in a matter of hours if you’re willing to forgo all human contact and concern for personal hygiene. this is just a side project for me, but i have some very big ideas about what i want to do with it, so expect more videos soon!
— Peter UPDATE: this project now has its own youtube account! visit youtube.com/tetrastream for all the latest. the project has now been migrated over to Mac OSX, so this physical Arduino-based device is no longer needed.
