Cum On Take The Luv a mashup i did that asks the proverbial question, “how does it feel to feel love and feel the noize?” download the mp3 here: www.operazero.org songs used, in rough order of appearance: new order – blue monday blancmange – what’s your problem devo – i desire blancmange – other animals kraftwerk – uranium thompson twins – hold me now devo – patterns devo – out of sync twisted sister – we’re not gonna take it donna summer & giorgio moroder – i feel love quiet riot – cum on feel the noize more music nerd trivia: i originally started this mashup in order to combine new order’s “blue monday” with kraftwerk’s “uranium,” because new order sampled that choir chord from kraftwerk (probably the first group ever to sample kraftwerk). kraftwerk originally played that choir chord not on a mellotron, but on a vako orchestron, which you can learn more about at my website: www.optigan.com and now for the bragging rights, i actually am the owner of the original studio master tapes of that choir sound… though i didn’t use those source tapes in this mashup.
