The purpose of this video is to demonstrate that MIDI files can actually sound very good when played with a nice synthesizer. Here, I used the free SynthFont SoundFont-compatible software synthesizer (www.synthfont.com) to reproduce a MIDI file using a custom General MIDI SoundFont bank I designed for my Sound Blaster Live! soundcard.
